My miracle ♡

I wemt into labor on mothers day at 7am .. I got to the hospital at 8am and was 4cm and contractions 2 minutes apart.My ob came to break my water... When she broke it a flood came out and we all laughed and then a MASSIVE flood of water came out and everyone went silent .. she reached in and looked at the murse and yelled" cord " the nurse slammed on a button on the wall and alarms started going off and within 5 secounds 5 other doctors were in the room .. my ob was on top of the bed with her hsnd in me i asked her what was going on and she said the cord is coming out and crushing the babies oxgyen so you need a csection right now thst the cord prolapsed.. my ob switched places with a younger nurse snd she jumped on the bed snd they rushed us to the surgery room ... I woke up to no baby...They got her out in under 5 minutes I asked where she was and they said i couldnt see her just yet .. within an hour her oxgyen was cutting out while she slept snd she started "shaking " .. they hooked her up to a bunch of wiring and stuff ... I had no clue wtf was going on 😭 My husband came in and said when they pulled my daughter out the 2 doctors came out and told him she was a miracle and gasped for air so quickly they didnt think she would ... But when she went to nap she wasnt breathing properly and when they did the reflex check she wasnt responding .. They said i could see her for a quick minute from the incubator .. so I looked at her for all of 1 minute and they rushed her to sickkids and get a mri at 72 hours for possible brain damage ... They put her in hypothermia therapy (cold therapy) to stop any chance of brain swelling .. They made sure she stayed asleep so she couldnt feel how cold she was 😭 .. I got to see her up close after day 4 .. day 5 they woke her up and took her out of the cold to get her ready for her MRI scan.

Her mri scans all came back normal...

They kept her asleep for thst long without food so she lost weight ... by day 6 they gave her her first bit if milk which came from a bottle because they wouldnt let me breastfeed her yet... by day 7 i tried to breastfeed her and she wouldnt even let thst happen.. fast forward shes perfectly healthy and got to come home on day 9 ...
