I used the hospital pump with my first to try to get my milk in but I would rather use my pump they work differently and I would rather get use to my own than the hospitals if I need to pump. I will leave it in the car and have my husband get it if needed 100% bringing and using my haakaa though

With my first she didn’t latch at all and I used the hospital pump which was annoying I’m just going to assume that this baby is not going to latch well so I am bringing my own which is battery operated along with my haaka

I will be taking my haakaa but my hospital puts a medela symphony in every postpartum room. Hopefully this time though my kiddo will latch immediately and I won’t need the electric pump at all.

I took mine with my 1st and will be with this baby. It’s not much extra space to pack one in your bag. My 1st never latched so im not counting on this one to latch as well.

Many hospitals stopped providing the hospital grade ones due to covid, requesting you bring your own.
I keep meaning to call my hospital and ask...

When I had my first, they had a medical grade pump in the room and provided me with all needed parts. Check with your hospital first before hauling yours in.
