😭 mums with Symphysis Pubis Dysfunction (SPD)
Hello!
I'm just writing to get any advice from anyone who has had previous experience to this terrible condition !!!
I have 3 children and currently expecting my fourth in December.
I carried my first child finewith no problems I was induced with her then she got stuck so was assisted with a vacuum for her delivery. It tore me plus I believe it had damaged my pelvis (I was under epidural so I couldn't of known at that time)
I went on 12 months later to have another baby and when I was in third trimester I realised this excruciating pain in the front of my pubic bone i couldn't walk anymore I couldn't get in and out of a chair ! I couldn't get out of bed. I was basically so limited and technically disabled. I still managed to move around but I was litterally pushing through the worst pain !
After I delivered it went away and when I had my 3rd baby it started in the second trimester. By the 30th week I needed assistance to help me walk. I felt like my pelvis was going to break. It ruined my last trimester and stole the joy of carrying my baby. I was so depressed I felt I couldn't carry my own babies :(
Well now,
I'm currently 10 weeks pregnant, I started experiencing pain in my pelvis a few days before the positive test. It was bad when I was working but I'd be fine the next day after resting... come to the past week, I've had consistent lower back pain on my right, which I feel Is effected from the spd because its separated a bit to the right. I get awful clicking sounds and pains when im on my feet all day.. I already ordered a pregnancy belt because the pain has been unbearable.. I usually didn't need one until the middle of second trimester..
I'm going to see my doctor tomorrow, but is there anything I can do to get rid of this? No one ever checked up on it to treat it after my births.. I know it was caused from my first delivery but I really don't want to be miserable in pain so early I was hoping I would not suffer with it because it has been 2 years since I had a baby..
:(
Also, I have had 2 prior c sections and wanting to deliver vaginally, is it possible now with this pelvic problem ? I do not want to opt for another c section....
Thanks for reading my post
