My son and partner were in the room while I done my sneak peek blood test, they weren’t too close to me but they were still in the room. Also I got the blood under my nail when putting it in the pot 😩 
I got the result of boy... do you think I could’ve contaminated it by doing it this way???

Unfortunately yeah it can totally be contaminated.  But still could very well be boy🤷🏼‍♀️💙

Yes it could have been contaminated but it could also still be a boy.

Yes, it says to do it in a sanitized room alone without any males present for the most accurate result. Due to the conditions when you took the test I wouldn’t completely rely on this result :( you may be able to see something at your 12 week scan though. I did a sneak peak and then saw it was a boy at 12 weeks, even the tech pointed out it was a boy. (Before anyone says it’s impossible to tell gender at that point!) Goodluck :)
