Fighting naps

My almost 4 month old just started fighting naps recently. She can only fall asleep in my arms but she HATES being held towards my chest. She’ll throw her head back, arch her back, and kick her legs for a few minutes at a time. Then she’ll close her eyes and sleep but she’ll randomly remember that she’s being held towards my chest and start again. This happens a few times in the half hour that I’m rocking her until I can put her down.

I wish I could just put her down to sleep on her own, but she gets so excited and looks around. She also can’t stop rolling and often wakes herself up that way.

So exhausted...
