Pregnancy blood tests

I went in to get a blood test done a week ago (5/20 - at 12 dpo) to confirm that I was pregnant as I'd been getting BFPs on urine tests at home for a few days. 1st Result came back positive on the 24th and I was asked to go back yesterday (26th) because it was a bit too early. Results from the 2nd blood test came in today and I was told I'm over 1000 hCG but I was asked to go back for another blood test tomorrow.

Did anyone's doctors asked for you to come back for blood tests 3+ times? Is that an usual thing?

I'm not really worried about anything, but I thought I'd ask what were/are your experiences.
