What to expect

Hello, I have a video appointment consultant with a fertility specialist mid June.. just trying to get a feel of what to expect at my first appointment based on what I tell the doctor... to moved forward with help do they do blood work first before anything or do they prescribe medication first and go from there??? What is everyones first experience like?

At my first appointment we just talked about my history and discussed steps going forward. Then they took a ton of blood from both me and my husband and scheduled other necessary testing. I had my consult in early December and started stims for my first ivf cycle in February. I had already been through 6 failed iui cycles though so we knew going in ivf was going to be the route we go.

I already had my testing done, so my consult was just protocol and I drove (19 hours) to where I was doing IVF the day before my period came. Then started that cycle.  Stayed there for 7ish weeks, ha!  But I had to do two rounds.
