When can my baby be around family?

Hey mamas, 
At what age did you take your baby around family other than who lives in your house? My son will be 2 months on the 3rd and I’m terrified to take him out the house other than doctor appointments.

The day baby was born. I don’t understand keeping baby away from family - unless they are unvaccinated for Covid and running around like idiots and partying. There’s no need to keep away.

My baby was born at the start of the pandemic when we really knew nothing about covid. She didn’t meet family until she was like 2-3 months old. If she were born right now, I’d have my family visit the second she was home.

I had my son in Dec and we allowed our families to see him when we got home as long as they’re ready not sick, did the proper hand washing, and wore their masks the whole time. People outside our immediate family weren’t allowed to see him until he was 4 months. It’s whatever you at comfortable with.

My parents met him 2 hours after he was born. I requested flu and whooping cough for anyone seeing him. This was prior to covid. Now, I would request a covid vaccine as well, and masks, but would be fine with people meeting the baby ASAP with those things on board.

Pandemic world im not sure...but my 2 sons my in laws where there on day one even when mother in law had a cold wasn't too happy by that. Even week later we left our first son with them to go shopping and I cried while my husband was like what? Not even realizing lol....so just make sure you are comfortable with it....just make sure they don't kiss your baby voice that even in a non Pandemic world. Also doesn't matter if they are vaccinated or not ppl who are vaccinated still get it still pass it on dont know why ppl don't think its not possible...so just use your best judgment ask ppl questions have they  been coughing? Or traveling.

Whenever you're comfortable with it. Both my babies were around family from day 1. (Well day 2 for my second because no visitors were allowed at the hospital)

We only really limited other children since it was child a flu season and the cousins were sick.  But she saw her grandparents and other family members

We had his grandparents only come before 2 months. After 2 months we took him to their houses since he had his DTAP shot. But that is the only place we have been. Mainly because of worries over sickness but also I am a FTM and going out in public with him seems stressful.
