Can baby have vegetarian sushi?

My 1 year old was snacking on vegetarian sushi with his uncle and my friend said he’ll get sick..but there’s no fish in it. Is it okay? I feel bad I didn’t know, it’s just veggies🙈

The only risk would be in a restaurant with poor food prep where cross contamination with raw foods occurs.
Plenty of 1+ littles (city babies 😄) eat raw sushi and sashimi and are just fine, it just needs to be good quality from a trustworthy source.

The risk with sushi in pregnancy is with the rice because it can carry bacteria which cause food poisoning, is this what he meant? If it was fresh sushi it’s fine

Your friend is in educated, it's just veggies not fish...unless your baby is allergic to one of the veggies, then why would your friend say that? Lol I'm not a doctor and that's obvious.
