Skin mole

my mind is very preoccupied by this mole my mom showed me on her arm. a new one next to it just popped up. they’re both dark. one is raised, the other flat. i’m almost a nurse so i’ve studied this and honestly am very terrified. she’s had this for awhile and i’m just really really scared. i’m trying not to panic or anything, and she knows she has to go to the dermatologist but if someone who is out there can just ease my mind a little bit.... please i would appreciate it.
