Is it worth it to test at 9DPO?

Curious if I should wait one more day. Did anyone get a false neg at 9DPO and a positive at 10DPO? Also I’ll be using a first response line test which is pricy so i don’t want to waste it so fast.

85% of successful implantations happen between 8-10 dpo and it takes 48-72 hours on average after that to build up enough HCG to show in a test. There’s definitely nothing wrong with testing early (Lord knows I do some months!) but I’d avoid wasting an expensive test that early, unless you’ve got a bunch of them lying around. And consider how hard it will be to see a negative, because it’s definitely possible that even tomorrow could give you a “false” negative. Good luck! Sending baby dust your way!!!

I tested at 9dpo and got a faint positive and now my line is very dark.

I’d wait until 10DPO. My first I didn’t get a positive until 14dpo, second 10, third 10 and the fourth was 8dpo. It all depends on when you implant which is between 6-12dpo and then it takes 2-3 days from implantation to have high enough hcg to get a positive HPT.
