This is my second pregnancy but was induced with my first at 40 weeks due to gestational hypertension- I lost my mucous plug gradually today and am now having my bloody show! I called and talked to my doctors PA about it and she said unless I’m having strong/close contractions or my water breaks, there is really no reason to come in to L&D- my “bloody show” started out as light pink and is now more red, is that concerning or is it still okay? It’s not a huge amount and I’m having some contractions about 10-16 min apart that aren’t painful at all and baby is still moving around.
