Do you think people have stopped caring or worrying about Covid? My whole house and I have been sick for the past 2 weeks with cold like symptoms. Took my baby to the ER last Sunday because his fever shot up to 104. They tested him for flu and RSV but wouldn’t test for Covid. Took him and my other son to their pediatrician who swabbed for strep but once again wouldn’t test for Covid and said not to worry about Covid. My husband and I got sick and he told his work he was sick and wanted a rapid test done (he’s in the military) and they said NO because they didn’t want him to have to quarantine for 14 days. So he’s at work sick and can’t taste or smell anything. We are BOTH fully vaccinated. I know you can still catch Covid while vaccinated, it will just present more mildly. I’m just so confused why 3 doctors wouldn’t test for Covid and acted like we were silly for asking? Has anyone else had this experience?
