so i’m on birth control for my period and had an appointment today. since i’m a virgin she didn’t need to go up and check that area, just a breast exam. but after she gave me like “the talk” and said if i ever have sex i need to let her know so she can change my prescription to something that actually prevents pregnancy, but doesn’t all birth control do that? like it’s a catholic place so part of the talk was “you should wait” and stuff but is she just saying my birth control doesn’t work to prevent me from having sex longer? or is that an actual thing?
