Cramping after cervical check

38 weeks + 4 days today and had my weekly appointment. Baby dropped a lot so the doctor did a cervical check and this baby boy's big head is more on my right side and pushing my cervix to the left side... Oh and I'm only half a centimeter dilated, so basically closed 🙃

This made for a pretty uncomfortable check and now I'm cramping REAL bad. Definitely not contractions, more like period cramps and very low. Anyone else feel this much pain after a cervical check?

It almost brought me to tears when I was helping my husband cook dinner. (He kept trying to make me sit down but I didn't want him to mess up the guacamole I was craving 😅)
