I had my Mirena since mid April and I have the exact same experiences that you've had... Spotting after sex etc.
Mirena IUD
Got my mirena at the end of April 2015. After insertion I had random spotting and continued to have my regular periods. After my period in August (11th-15th), I stopped having my period all together. Just recently on 11/20 after fooling around with someone, I noticed I had spotting. We ending up sleeping together on 11/22 and I noticed that there was slightly bloody discharge on the condom. From 11/22 on, I have had continued random spotting and bleeding. Some days are worse than others and at first I would bleed a lot when I used the bathroom. I went to my gyno on 11/30 and had an ultrasound and exam done and the doctor said everything looked normal. My IUD is still in place, etc. He stated that random bleeding with the mirena is common. Within the past few days it's decreased to just light spotting here and there but now I'm paranoid. Was this even a period? Will this start to happen after every time I fool around or have sex with someone? I went so long without a period I had wishful thinking and thought I was totally done :( Has anyone had a similar experience?

I've only had my mirena for about a month now, however, after insertion my period completely stopped about a few hours...I haven't had any spotting or anything, but I hear that's normal. I did however have emence pain for a little over a week straight. I guess everyone is very different when it comes to mirena... But idk. I haven't heard of anyone else having the issues I had. But now that it's been in for a while, everything seems normal, but I hurt sometimes, like if I lay in certain positions?I hope everything works out for you.

Oh I forgot to mention, I didn't have any issue with bleeding after intercourse either.
