It is based on the first day of your last period, not your missed period. You basically get about 2 weeks “for free” because you count the time in the cycle before you conceived. So if the first day of your last period was may 6 you would be 4 weeks today.

But when you get to the point of doing ultrasounds they may adjust the due date based on the baby's progression so it may change anyways in the end.
