Ovulation tests

I've been taking ovulation tests, the first 2 days had faint lines but I took one today and nothing. Has anyone had this? Does anyone think this could be linked with fertility problems? Trying to avoid drs for now as I'm overweight and I just feel they'll put everything down to my weight.
