My cousin and I are trying to find a place to go out tonight. We read a review on one place that basically said they aren’t friendly towards POC, so stay away. My cousin goes “well you’re ganna have to go by yourself”. And I said why? And she goes “well you’re white passing. You don’t look like me”. She’s brownskin, most of my family is, I just came out light skin. But to say I’m “white passing” I think is a bit of a stretch, I’ve never been told that before, so I’ll let you guys decide. And no, we’re not going to that place. Her comment just has me curious as to how I’m viewed.
