He’s here! 💙
Had my induction set for the 1st but my water broke naturally the night before we were induced. Of course we were excited, baby was ready to meet us just as much as we were ready to meet him. We got to the hospital and contractions were 2-3 minutes apart but weren’t strong and I was staying at 3cm dilated. They broke the rest of my water 17 hours after the initial break and not long after that things started to get bad. Contractions became stronger which is what we were hoping for, but baby’s heart rate started dropping fast. Doctors and nurses rushed in and were flipping me and doing everything possible to get his heart rate back up but nothing was working. I remember them saying it was low 70s before they rushed me down the hall for an emergency c-section. I was telling them to do whatever to save the baby and not to worry about me and before I knew it I was thrown onto the operating table and they were putting me to sleep. Baby was born happy and healthy at 12:42p.m.(June 1st) Weighing 7 pounds 5 ounces and 19 1/2 inches long. Super thankful for the doctors and nurses that helped deliver my boy safely. Here’s my precious little rainbow 🌈 Jaxon Wyatt Hopkins!
