Almost 8 months pp and still no period

Hey everyone! I had a baby on October 9th. He was 2 months premature but is doing fantastic. I stopped pumping in March and am on the mini pill for birth control. I had been put on that due to pumping. I am still taking this pill, but with being almost 8 months pp, my period still has not returned. I'm not complaining about not having a period, but should I be concerned? I have had some spotting here and there where I thought it was my period starting, but then it ended up just being a couple days of really light bleeding or spotting.
