Anybody get positive ovulation but no cycle?

I got a positive ovulation about 17 days ago thinking my period was coming back but it hasn’t yet.

Anovulation is a thing. LH signals the brain to tell the ovaries to release an egg but sometimes, for some reason, an egg isn’t released. This is why OPKs can only predict ovulation but can’t say for sure if ovulation took place.

Yep! I started tracking in February (9.5m PP/breastfeeding) and get a surge every month around the 21-23rd. Yet no period has started thus far. They say that’s super common! 
Here’s one example: positive March 23rd yet no period happened. (Still today I haven’t had a PP period).

You can have an LH surge without actually ovulating.
