Migraine?

My sister had a headache all day but just got worse tonight, possibly a migraine from what she’s explaining.
What can she do to help alleviate the pain?

Hydrate, put an ice pack on her head, lay down in a dark room, avoid electronic device, take pain meds, and try to sleep, if possible.

Along with taking medicine my husband likes to use one of these. He heats it in the microwave and puts it on the back of his neck

Caffeine helps with headaches so as others have said, let her drink coke/ coffee/ etc. Dark, quiet room, a good painkiller. For me chocolate also helps.

Before I got diagnosed with chronic migraines, I drank a coke and took excedrin migraine.

Cold towel, dark room and sleep is yhe only thing yhat does it for me.

I had a migraine last Saturday and what has always saved me was a cold towel on my forehead and eyes, take ibuprofen, and drink some coke or coffee. Hope this helps! But definitely do the cold towel that brought me halfway back to 100% alone.

Cut an apple, put salt on an apple slice and eat it. Sometimes the only thing that helps when all else has failed

Take Advil and drink a coffee. And put feet in warm water and cold cloth on back of neck
