Airbnb help.

So i have never rented an airbnb before so my boyfriend and I are going on vacation in August so i rented a 3 bedroom airbnb we don't need the extra bedroom but i will take one room and he will take the other room(long story short i hate his snoring and the only solution is a separate room) so the airbnb we rented was $1400 for one week that includes the cleaning fee, service fee and taxes. However my mom said spending that much money is stupid and it was too much for a week trip i should've booked a hotel and the reason why i didn't because his snoring and i don't want to share a room with his snoring i need a separate space there is still time for us to cancel the airbnb so my question is $1400 two much for it? Can i find something else because I've been Struggling I've spent hours trying to right airbnb you have to be 25 and older to book most of them.

Edit: we are going to Atlantic city so the prices are going to be high anyway it's definitely not $50 dollars a night but i will look at more places to stay at
