My boyfriend and I have been together since September last year. Everything has been amazing, we fell in love quickly, we have plans for the future together and both of us have said how we have never felt like this before.

Anyway last night I was lying on the couch with my eyes closed, we were watching a film. Anyway he was sat on the floor basically in front of me, I saw him scroll through his WhatsApp contacts, click on his ex, look at her profile picture then proceeded to message her like -

I never said anything at the time because it’s such a weird exchange. I genuinely thought we were in love and moving on with our lives. I told my one friend and she said it’s just his ego being hurt he doesn’t actually want her, but why is his ego hurt a year after they broke up? Surely he knows she will move on. Like he has?! I’m really sad. I don’t know how to be alone. I can’t stop crying
