These last few days I have been mourning this chapter of my life that is closing.

I am forever grateful for my midwife team @nampa_midwives and the experience of a beautiful empowering home birth.

I have been completely blindsided with the grief I am feeling, knowing that I am wholeheartedly done with having children but not so much for the experience of a home birth surrounded by the most encouraging, empowering and supportive team of women. I loved every aspect of my birth! I just never thought I would be grieving over wanting to continue the experience.

I know God has plans for my family and me. So here is to closing the chapter of pregnancy and child birth and on to the chapter of toddlerhood with an infant.

I’m going to soak up these moments and take in all the feels. These moments don’t last forever so I’m making the best of them!
