Are implantation cramps even real?

I am so confused by implantation cramping. I’ve read online they’re real and then on Ava’s website they pretty much shut down all evidence that implantation cramping isn’t a real thing. 
Have any of you ladies actually experienced implantation cramps? What was the difference between them and AF coming cramps? I’m at about 8-9dpo and my cramping started about a day ago. Usually AF cramps for me are all over my stomach but these are in my pelvic region. It feels like someone is inside tugging on something at times then they stop. Then it will start again then stop. 
I’m not very hopeful this cycle anyways because every time I symptom spot, AF comes within a few days. Just wondering if any of you ACTUALLY experienced it and if there was a difference? We’re they more in your pelvic region can stomach? We’re they just as intense or dull?

At 11dpo I had cramping that felt like early AF combined with bleeding- not spotting- full on bleeding, like my period was a few days early. except- it only lasted for about an hour and disappeared. got my positive at 14dpo (didn’t test before that).

Ovulated 12/21/20 started cramping 7dpo 12/28/20got my BFP 7 days after which was the day of my cycle 1/4/21 currently 26weeks 2days due 9/13

With my daughter, I went to the er for bleeding right after I got my positive because I had pinkish/ brownish spotting. Dr told me it was in fact implantation bleeding. I was cramping, but I thought it was due to my period about to start. Might have been due to early pregnancy. Never heard of implantation cramps. But unless women on here are Drs, no one can tell me implantation bleeding isn't real.

I have never had implantation cramps or bleeding honestly I don't even get pregnancy symptoms cuz I don't even get symptoms when it comes to PMS or my  my body is just really odd lol

I started cramping on 6dpo. They felt the same as period cramps, but a little lighter. I honestly just figured I was starting my period early. On 10dpo I got my bfp 🤷🏻‍♀️ every body is different and experiences different things when they become pregnant!! Baby dust 🌟

I had implantation cramps at 6dpo with both pregnancies. They were quick and sharp cramps down low in my pelvis. I also get similar cramps with ovulation each month (confirmed by bbt) so I think I'm more sensitive than others.
