Hi ladies! I'm 37 years old and pregnant with baby #4. My baby girl had her fetal echocardiogram on Monday. This is the appointment I was dreading and nervous because of the unknown. It may sound crazy but I was fearful that my baby would be born and have to have surgery shortly after. We got the news that she has a complete septal av defect and would need open heart surgery between 4 to 6 months. Both doctors reassured us that she is growing and doing well. Anyone going through the same thing please know it's going to be okay no matter what it looks like. God is awesome!
