How to keep baby awake while feeding?

My daughter Charlotte is a great feeder... when she's awake. I've tried bouncing her, burping her, tickling her feet, undressing her, and even a baby wipe across the face, but she ends up falling asleep no matter what. What have you other mommies done to keep your littles feeding?
P.S. inverted nipples suck, but nipple shields are a god send!

I usually feed and I’ll play with his hair or feet. If he falls asleep I’ll burp him which wakes him up then offer the other side. Also if I find he’s just sucking and not eating I’ll unlatch him and burp him or sometimes change his diaper before continuing to feed.

The only thing that worked for me was setting her down on her back. Since that’s when she seems to wake up when I’m trying to put her to sleep. It worked. 🤣 she’d wake up and remember she was hungry and we’d go again.

I usually change diaper before I switch sides. I also put my finger under his chin to keep suckling.

My son is the same way (he is a little over 3 weeks).. I end up having him wanting to feed every hour which is hard on me because I don't feel like I'm "resupplying" fast enough and never have time to pump a back up supply. It's very frustrating for sure! I have started doing the diaper change then breast switch just to at least feel better that he's actually getting what he needs. And I think, slowly, it is working. He seems to be sleeping a bit better and longer between feedings. 
Also, my lactation consultant in the hospital told me to stroke (or tickle) under the chin/neck to stimulate sucking when he slows down and starts nodding off. Hope you find something that will work too, but you are not alone!

I burp him, switch sides every couple of minutes, change his nappy halfway through, blow in his face if he’s nodding off...

My son is the same way. We ended up having to bottle feed pumped milk. Am going to reintroduce the breast next week and see how it goes. But he rarely has problems staying awake now during feedings.

Following! I'm in the same boat. I've tried everything. Sometimes it works, most of the time it doesn't. I just feed her more frequently. 🤷
