My daughter has always been very shy and will watch other kids play instead of joining them. She always stays with mom or whichever adult is taking care of her. She now started school and it had transferred. She cries when I drop her off and the teacher says she only wants to stay with her and won’t engage in activities just observes. If other kids try to talk to her she cries (anxiety kicks in). Any tips of how I can help my daughter cope with this social anxiety ?
