Which one is better?

Soo, my baby’s birthday falls on Saturday (17th) but my partner works on weekends so we have to celebrate mid week 🙄 I’m now debating to celebrate before (14th) or after (21st) his birthday. What do you guys think, I think that it’s better to do it after just need some options 😁

I didn’t vote because I think either one is fine. My son’s birthday is on July 15. We’re doing his party on July 17th. I took his birthday off work so we can go to the park or something but his actual party will be 2 days later with family and friends (probably a trigger, but our party is only for those who are vaccinated). Anyway I think it’s kind of better this way. I get to spend the day with him and maybe my husband (he started a new job and hasn’t asked off yet) which is how it was when he was born so this is special to me. Then Saturday we will celebrate with friends and family who work during the week. This is going to happen several times. Your kiddo’s birthday is not always going to be on days you’re both off so we adjust. Plus first, second and third years are really for us and to take pictures to show them we did celebrate even if they don’t remember. It helps them to know we care and love them.
