Iui #1 experience

UPDATED: Hi ladies! I just wanted to share my journey with you so far. I’ve been ttc for two years and started seeing a fertility specialist last month. I went in for an HSG exam and was told everything looked great and tubes are open. I was then prescribed clomid and also a trigger shot. I went in for my first IUI last week feeling very hopeful after hearing how everything was looking great during my last ultrasound. The day of my IUI I found out my husband has low sperm count at 13 million and we only had 5.5 million post wash with 30% motility.

I took a pregnancy test after the TWW which I thought was negative (very faint) I tested again two days later and had a faint positive. I went to the fertility clinic and my first HCG was 30.5 and progesterone was at 14. This confirmed a pregnancy but my numbers were low. I had blood work two days later HCG level was 45 and progesterone was 11.98. After three days I went back for my third blood work and the morning of I had some brownish spotting. Later that day my blood work confirmed that I am no longer pregnant :( I had a chemical. My HCG dropped to 9 and progesterone below 1. I am very sad but will try my best to remain positive and try again as soon as I am able to. I hope this post has helped. Thank you for the positivity send my way while I waited. 🙏🏻
