Is there a “technique” to conceive a boy?

There's the Shettles method, which I think some say it's like 80%. The premise is that y sperm swim faster but x sperm live longer, so having sex 3-5 days before ovulation is more likely to produce a girl and a day before or ovulation day is more likely to produce a boy. I met a woman who had 7 kids and she said they used this method for each one and it came out as planned. So far we're 3 for 3, although only our daughter was planned. It could also be random chance, but using that method the genders for each of our kids matches up.
There are also some other things that can (potentially) affect it, my husband recently saw that there seems to be a heavy correlation between past steroid use and having daughters, but there's not studies on it. My great aunt also wasn't able to carry boys to term but successfully had 5 daughters. There's a lot of weird unknowns in what should be 50/50

There are theories about it, that girls are conceived if you have sex before ovulation, boys on the day of, and a friend of mine swears she used it to get her two boys. But there's no proof and clinical studies show equal results regardless of timing. Either way, good luck! I want a boy too but I'll be deliriously happy as long as I get a healthy baby.

I read a study that put women on pretty extreme diets... like really low sodium, really high potassium, something like that, I can’t remember... and the two different diets did have significantly higher odds of producing a child of the targeted sex. You could look up that study and email the researchers to get more specific info about the diet. But it didn’t sound very easy/comfortable/fun and it wasn’t a sure thing.
There’s also sperm sorting... but I don’t think it’s actually done where I live anymore... maybe there was some problem or side effect? The success rate wasn’t ever very high when they did do it, but better than 50/50. He’d leave a sample, they’d attempt a “sort” with some kind of spinning machine or something? And then use IUI to inseminate the mom. Also not a sure thing.
The only sure thing would be IVF with genetic testing.

There isn’t. I had an older coworker tell me that you can predict the gender of a baby based on who came first. She said if the woman cums first, it’s a boy & if the guy cums first, it’s a girl. That’s just an old wives tale. Also the Chinese calendar is another one but that’s just for fun
