Never been so scared and confused!!!

Woke up this morning and I went to check up on my 10 months old baby because usually by that time he would have been awake. I get woken up by his cry when he wakes up same time every morning… anyways, I walked to his room and I saw him on the floor playing! How? I put him on his cot bed last night and that was where he slept… I have a baby monitor which I used to keep an eye on him during the night and each time I checked the monitor he was on his bed sleeping! I’m confused about how he got on the floor… the only explanation that I could think of is he probably fell from his cot Bed! I have been confused and blaming myself for the past one hour! Should I take him to the hospital? The baby monitor isn’t a WiFi one so It does not have the ability to show past footages (if that makes sense).
