Beach…Sand??

Question

Our family went to the beach the first time and our LO doesn’t like the sand. Cries!! 
Is this normal or could it be a sensory?

It’s normal for some kids. I hated it when I was little. My son didn’t ever really like it until just more recently (he’s 4) and our daughter who’s 18 months loves it. we went last year when she was smaller and we went just the other week and she has a blast in it. All kids are different. Some people just don’t like the sand. It’s a different texture and feeling they aren’t used too.

Also maybe the sand was too hot.... sometimes that happens too

I think it’s pretty normal for kids to not like sand the first time or few times they are on it, especially around this age if they aren’t used to it
