I am currently a week late on my period I was meant to get it last Sunday. It has now been 40 days since my last period. The week leading up to my expected period I was getting really bad cramps however I had no other pms symptoms like no sore breasts. I have had protected sex with my partner 3 times in this cycle. My periods are usually irregular and change a lot.

I took a pregnancy test yesterday and it came out negative. I have been stressing a lot about my period not coming and I’m not sure if this can delay it further. In the last couple of days I have been feeling more cramps, my vagina does hurt and feel uncomfortable, my breasts are heavy and sore, I am extremely bloated I have slight acne happening. Is this just a late period or should I continue to take more pregnancy test if it doesn’t come soon?
