Does your LO consistently respond to name?

Starting to be concerned that my 1yo is showing early signs of autism but my fam and doctor think he's fine. He definitely hears fine but rarely looks when I just call his name. Wondering if anyone else is in same boat?

Neither of them do. Neither did my first (she’s 13 years old and has started to stop responding to her name again lol). It’s normal.  
At this age, they’re  easily distracted and most of the time anything else is 100% more interesting than paying attention to mom. The twins also have started playing and teasing, so when they are paying attention to me, they’ll look away and start laughing so hard when I say their names cause they think ignoring me is fun.

My son doesn’t always respond to his name. I would say 50% of the time. Sometimes he’s just so fixated on something else or maybe I was saying his name multiple times in a short period of time so he stopped caring to look up at me.

It depends on my tone of voice. If I'm scolding him or trying to get his attention then yes 100% he responds to his name, but if I'm just calling him then it's hit or miss

My daughter one in 5 days, never responds to her name. But when I say to her come or milk she comes running. I think they are still young. Don’t stress mama

I also think my son has autism. He’s 1 in 4 days and for the last month or so, he’s been banging his head on the wall or his car seat. Definitely going to look into it
