Do you get nervous when your SO offers to fix something?

For example, something in the car, something in the house like a washing machine or even a laptop…
I trust my husband to be able to put something together. When it comes down to taking something apart and fixing it, I get nervous. I would much rather pay someone else.

My husband makes planes fly (assembles aircraft/aircraft maintenan engineer)... so I definitely trust him taking a toaster apart! 😆

No I do it myself. Car, Laptop, dishwasher you name it.

Not at all. My husband is incredibly resourceful. If he knows something is beyond his understanding or skill set, he pays someone else of course. We don’t have anything done incorrectly or half-assed around here. His actual job is all about being resourceful and teaching yourself how to do things you don’t currently know. I trust him with everything.

I do, my husband had a tendency to want to be the woman of the house but for a while it was like he didn’t want to ask for help how to do things and would just do them. So, I have a crooked curtain rod and a picture hung up with like 7 holes behind it trying to find the right one. I used to get annoyed but truly I appreciate him trying and he’s getting so much better at stuff. It’s hard sometimes though. lol.

Absolutely not. My husband is an amazing handyman. YouTube can teach your husband so much! And if he can’t fix it, he’ll end up paying someone else anyways, might as well try first.
