Should I not have eaten 2 donuts the night before my glucose test?

My test is in 14 hours. I wasn’t told to fast and obviously won’t have a sugary breakfast but will what I eat tonight affect anything?

you’re not supposed to fast unless told to do so by your doctor. you either have gestational diabetes or you don’t, if it goes undiagnosed it could be dangerous for you and baby. i ate a whole sugary breakfast 20 mins before my appointment and passed completely fine, i was never told to fast or anything & the ppl who took my blood said you should not modify your diet for the test unless that’s how you plan on eating for the rest of your pregnancy.

Don’t fast unless you were instructed too!
I don’t think it will matter. If you have GD you have GD. Also I’m 95% sure the sugar you ate the day before will be out of your system much before the test, so I wouldn’t worry!

I didn’t fast for 1.. with my first I had a big slice of chocolate lava cake and ice cream with dinner the night before my glucose test (it was our anniversary) & I passed mine with no problems.
