Teething or sick?

Has anyone’s lo experienced sick symptoms (runny nose & cough) when cutting teeth? Also did they refuse their formula/milk?

Teething doesn’t cause runny nose or a cough. My pediatrician said teething causes teeth. Most parents miss actual illness because they think those symptoms are teething but their not.

No. That sounds like a cold. Teething causes excessive drooling and chewing on things.

No, mine only got super fussy and ran a low fever. Sometimes her gums hurt enough she'd be fussy at the breast but she'd never fully refuse.
