breast milk question

so i pump feed and the last two times i barely made an oz ? i’m really confused because my supply came in last week and i was making 6-8oz each session. i haven’t missed a pump time and all the settings have been the same- my milk just stopped ?

this happened to my mom where she randomly stopped producing and she doesn’t know why. is there something i can do to keep that from happening or is it just genetic ?

i’m going to try to keep pumping and assume these were just flukes but idk 6-8oz to barely able to make an oz altogether seems a bit extreme..
