Baby monitor with actual night vision?

I picked up a Vtech baby monitor with dual cameras at a rummage sale for $30 and I thought I made out with a deal. Great, I thought, I don’t have to spend $150+ on one! I had a sound-only monitor but with baby #2 on the way I want a dual camera monitor.

Anyways this monitor is supposed to have night vision (obviously, or it’s useless!) but it’s so dark and grainy! My toddler only sleeps in a pitch black room. Now I’m gonna need to buy one after all 😩 any suggestions of a baby monitor that is better across the room/in darkness?

This is what it looks like. I have both cameras in there just to test them both out. Can’t see anything!
