Diaper Bag Blues

Does anyone have any suggestions for the best diaper bag?

My Partner and I just found out that we are expecting around the beginning of next year and we’re both autistic.

Meaning we’re definitely going to need extra room for bringing things for both Papa and Dad; as well as baby. (Changes of clothes, sensory toys, medications, etc.)

That also unfortunately means that we’re going to need tons of space in that said bag.

When Baby is born we’d be switching from a small satchel to adding our things to the diaper bag; to hopefully make it easier and less to carry. We’re most definitely looking for a backpack type bag. So our full and busy hands can be less, well- full and busy as they’re already going to be.

I’m hoping to find a bag that’s comfortable, reliable, roomy, and worth the price if it’s a bit on the expensive side. Making large purchases are nerve wracking for me but I know that quality has a price and I’m willing to save up a bit since we have a while before they arrive.

So please if anyone has suggestions. Your favorite bag, ol reliable. It doesn’t have to be leather and gold chains, all big and Gucci brand expensive. It could be a regular backpack that happens to have a lot of room, or jungle print with Velcro and a zipper. I’m just stressed and nervous as hell. I don’t want to make a first time parent/“rookie” mistake and have to return the bag because that process it terrible. Thank you so much in advance ❤️🎉
