Need advice ! Miscarriage

I need advice.

I had a blighted ovum at 9w3d back in September 2020. There were two odd shaped empty sacs measuring 5w6d.

With this pregnancy my dr is telling I’m having another blighted ovum. Here are the stats:

April 20: cycle day 1

May 3: ovulation

May 12: positive pregnancy test

June 2: spotting for 1 wipe

June 4: empty gest sac measuring 5w6d

June 11: gest sac + yolk sac measuring 6w4d

My dates are not wrong and by June 11th I should have been 7w3d so this is why the DR is suspecting blighted ovum but also isn’t sure why there would be growth of a yolk sac if the pregnancy isn’t viable.

It looks like I’m a week behind but not sure how that’s possible considering I got a positive test on May 12th + my bf was out of town and we didn’t baby dance for almost 2weeks past May 4th.

Tested my hcg early at 5w ish and it had doubled in 48hrs.

Thoughts ?!

Going for another ultrasound Wednesday where I should be 8w1d. If we don’t see an embryo should I do a d&c ?!
