Should I suck it up and text him?

I’m 19 and I have little experience dating… I met this guy on bumble and he seemed pretty cool we hung out twice and didn’t talk much through text or anything. He seems to be terrible at communicating over the phone and he did tell me he’s not big on social media and stuff like that. The second time we met he just kissed me outta no where and he wanted to hold hands and shit. I ended up telling him that it made me a little uncomfortable he didn’t ask first and he apologized. We were supposed to FaceTime that night and he said he’d HMU but never did and I found myself having to text him just to see what he’s up too. We were planning on hanging out and he said he’d see what’s going on at that time and he never gotten back to me. I really wanna hang out with him because we had amazing conversations in person but I don’t wanna seem clingy or anything by being the first one texting all the time and I get hella nervous. I figured that if he really wanted to go out he’d text me…I’m not sure if he’s trying to be polite or if he’s just bad at texting lol. I’m trying not to overthink this too much so I need some advice.
