Dye stealer???

I didn’t know what a dye stealer was til this morning honestly. I noticed the day I missed my period my line was darker on the first response I took compared to the control line but not by much. Today I’m 6 days passed my missed period and I think I got a dye stealer?? Can anyone tell me if this is one or not and what a dye stealer means? Is it reassurance to not miscarry? My hub and I experienced a miscarriage three years ago and it was awful.

It just means your hcg levels are high enough to steal dye from the control line. Pregnancy tests are designed to just tell you if you are pregnant though, unfortunately they can’t predict viability.
