Irregular period

I’ve had my implant in my arm for about 2 years, in those two years I have not gotten a period. Now randomly I was on a girls trip and got my period like full blown not just a lil spotting. It could be because of the girls in the room with me but if anybody thinks this isn’t normal can you let me know?

I just want to make sure my birth control is still working fine and I’d rather not have a period tbh.
