Boyfriend broke my car window

Me and my boyfriend were arguing. I was driving my car and he asked me to stop and let him out and I said no. So he was just going to jump out so I locked the car door. He starts freaking out because he has cleithophobia. Fear of being trapped. His mom constantly locked him in a closet when she didn't feel like parenting. I stopped the car to talk and he kept asking me to unlock the door and I said no and that hes gonna talk to me and he continues to freak out and I told him to stop before I call the police and have them take him to a mental hospital(empty threat). So be punched out my window and shattered it and just crawled out! He apologized today and said he doesn't like being trapped. He wasn't trapped. I just wanted to talk and he was trying to leave. He said he will pay for it when he gets paid. Thats Monday. I can't have a shattered window until Monday!
