Just let him do whatever?

My spouse just got a good paying job, he’s not permanent yet though. We have a 2 year old + another on the way in August.

I’ve been trying to talk to him about saving because I mean, I’ve been paying for everything since forever. He works 2 weeks at work & 2 weeks out & he gets paid while still at work, he always shops online & makes orders to spoil himself. Comes home with like 600$ or less. He has that mindset of “I have more money coming anyway” or “I have money just sitting in my account I should spend it”

I try & talk to him, he says he understands but also gets mad when I try & talk money. I just don’t want to keep paying for everything all the time, we’ve been together 4 years. He’s had little jobs in the past & of course paid for things when he had the funds. But yeah, I dunno. lol
