AC or the Dyson fan?

My 2 year old will be moving upstairs into his own room, but it’s humid up there when it’s hot out! What can I get to keep his room cool? I tried facing an AC down the hall but it didn’t do much for the bedrooms. Fans also don’t do much especially with the humidity. 
He does not like being hot lol, he will wake up sweaty & mad lol. He’s used a fan since he was born 😅 but yeah, what can I get for his room specifically? It’s not a big room.

Definitely an AC. The fan is just going to move around hot humid air.

There are ACs you can get that have built in dehumidifiers

A dehumidifier can make a big difference. An AC would also help but the combo would get rid of the humidity. Personally I don't mind the heat but I hate when it's humid.
